Do you ever feel alone?
Not like the coveted “peace and quiet” we cherish.
But alone, in a tough situation you don't know how to get out of.
Here are some bible examples of people in tough situations.
How about Daniel in the lion's den.
He was thrown in because he worshipped the true God.
He probably felt this was it. His life was over.
But God sent “his angel” to shut the lion's mouths.
Daniel was not alone. The Lord protected him.
God could have prevented him from ever being thrown into the lion's den.
But he didn’t. God had something much better in mind.
By God saving Daniel in the midst of the lion’s den, the King recognized Daniel’s God as the true God. He even issued a decree for the kingdom to fear and reverence the God of Daniel.
How about when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who were thrown into the fiery furnace?
They would not serve Nebuchadnezzar’s gods.
They told the king, “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
In response, the king ordered the furnace seven times hotter than usual.
In fact, the furnace was so hot, it killed the men who threw the three in the furnace.
As the king looked in the furnace, he saw not three men, but four.
They were walking around unbound and unharmed.
Nebuchadnezzar called them out of the fire.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego walked out.
They were not harmed, nor were their clothes scorched, or hair singed.
There wasn’t even the “smell of fire” on them.
Because there was “another” in the fire, protecting them.
Again, God could have kept these three from going through the fire.
But by allowing it, and being in their midst, God used this potentially deadly situation, for his glory.
The king sent out a decree that people could not speak against their God.
The king also promoted the three men.
God was in the midst of the fire. They were not alone.
God is still the same today. He is always with us. We may have "fiery” trials or feel like we are in the lion's den. But wherever we are, we are not alone.

Thanks Kerry,
This is impactful. Love you,
